Benworld was a silly name that was suggested when we were all thinking about what to call the studio back in 2006, and it seemed to stick as a word used to describe me when I go off into my own little world and seem like I'm not concentrating, when I actually am.

A fashion photographer is a kind of nomadic way to spend your life and I do end up in a lot of strange places which I like to make into projects themselves. I wanted to have a platform to show these images away from my fashion work which is where this website came from, some of the images are considered and others aren't, because thats ultimately the nature of documentary photography.

This website will be updated a lot, and will never feature a digital photograph, every image on this website is shot on film.
